It is very important for us to fully understand the turbines’ performance in a wide variety of geographies, mounted on a wide variety of building types, and in a wide variety of wind environments.
Our turbines have the capability of having a monitoring system that encompasses the wind, the turbine and the electrical production output as a result of the physical reaction between the wind and the turbine.
We monitor the wind with a high-grade anemometer measuring wind direction and speed. We then monitor the turbines’ physical performance in RPM (revolutions per minute) at both the turbines’ axle rod and the generator shaft.
From there, the BTI monitoring system measures the electrical output coming from the generator and through the inverter.
